Cost-friendly
Sometimes, bosses will do anything to cut cost. I wonder how much do they really save?
In preparation for the annual dinner
Boss: We will have a lucky draw and it will be cash.
Me: Cool
Boss: Yes, we will make coupons to sell to raise the cash
Me: Ohhhh
Boss: When our suppliers and our clients arrived, make sure you 'dui' them to buy all.
Me: Ohhhh....
Boss: Then, we dont have to spend a single cents...
Me: OK
Recently
Me: Argh... what a unbearable hot day!
Boss: Yeah lor... yeah lor. But dont you worry, when we move over to our new building, we will be much more comfortable
Me: Yeah, we will all have our OWN personal fan.
Boss:.... No lar *giving me the beady eyes look*

Own personal fan! Ha, I'd like those too (my workplace literarily can't afford to switch on air-con even though it's right *there*).
Chinese boss issit?
At least you seem extremely close to your boss. Good for bonuses - though Chinese bosses are really terrible at that.
