Paradis is a place on earth

A photo taken in Lourdes (a pligrimage site) in the Region of Midi-Pyrénées last year. It's the name of a hotel called 'Paradis' which is Paradise in english, which you can see just outside my window.

Imagine this - when someone ask you about your stay in Lourdes and you said 'J'habite a Paradis' which is I am staying in Paradise... They will be so pleased!!!!

Work has been really busy with our annual BBQ tomorrow. Kinda cheapskate I know and to top it up, the prices for the lucky draws sucksssssssss. Anyway, I gonna enjoy myself no matter what.

I was watching the advertisement on 'Malaysia's most beautiful' and somehow it just got to me how silly is the show. After all the bitchiness that you see on the screen about each of them. How can they still be beautiful in our eyes. Perhaps, I am shallow and am not able to see beyond all that but... really, to me, they have no basis for their claims to be malaysia's most beautiful. If you talk about their outer look, oh please... If you talk about their attitude, they can be your next door blonde girl (minus the look).

Soon, there might be a reality show called - Malaysia's Most Slutty.

I had a good dream last night. I was backpacking in Europe with some friends and I met my other friends who happened to have other cute friends. The weird part of the dream is I had so many bags. Let me see - about 8 bags on me - one bag for my gadgets, one bag for my clothes, one for my computer, etc, etc.... hehehe so wierd. Maybe, it is a sign I am on the move this year. Well, the best part of this dream is this really cute guy gave me his number. WOW WOW WOW. darn... I sort of woke up after that. I cant remember the number else i would go to buy 4D today.

This brings me to the second part of my entry today. I met this really really (and I stress) really cute guy on the way home last night. The most juicy part of it all is he is staying in the same condo as I am, the same block as I am. I gonna check this out.. Sounded like a stalker right? lol. I like the way he dressed - jean below the waist line and the way he combed his hair - those messy look. I haven't heard my heart pumping so loud for a long time.

Twisted

I watched 2 pretty depressing movies the last few days - Oliver Twist and The Passion of Christ. I guess the titles themselves gave the movie away. In Oliver, the poor kid is perpetually being bullied by people and in The Passion, what a sight! Arghhh depressing......

I updated my ipod last night and poowww now my computer officially does not recognise my ipod when I plug it in. Arghhhhhh I hate this.... Gonna bring it back to the shop this weekend. (Mental note - 1. Do not save all your music in your ipod. 2. Don't buy anymore ipod)

At work, it has been quite ok. Just running around sourcing for wine to give to our top clients. I am also involved with the lucky draw for our coming annual dinner BBQ. I tell you, it must be the most cheapskate lucky draw I ever seen. But, like a good employee - whatever that makes you happy, boss, we are happy too!

Horizontally challenged

I was trying on a new shirt and a new pants I bought yesterday and I asked my brother if I looked ok. ( Hey, I didnt even asked if I looked nice) and this is his reply:-

"You looked like Doeramon gone taller"

Bloody @&)&!^$%^!! I seriously need to get in shape. I put on so much weight since I return to KL. Arghhhh so my resolution for this year is to get back in shape.

In no particular order:-
1. Play more games and exercise every week.
2. Snack a little as possible.
3. Walk to work (well since my office is pretty near)
4. Drink more water everyday.
5. Go vegetarian at least 4 times a week.

To avoid

Since, I am working 6 full days a week, sunday is the only day I can run around town to shop and hang out with my friends. I did that today and I am so tired now. Not that I am tired of the shopping but the people I have to avoid while grabbing things off the shelf. The chinese new year's crowd is back and for pete's sake, don't go to shop unless it's of utmost importance. Yeah, I definite would be avoiding all the malls now. (unless it is for movies)

I watched Pride and Prejudices last night with some friends and I love it. The sceneries are breathtaking beautiful and the english, perfecto - pleasing to my ears. Oh Paul, Mr Darcy is mine! Totally hunkalicious!

Talking cock

I work with this really wierd group of people. ;) Sometimes Most of the time, these idoits really pisses me off. Well, let me list it down :-

1. They love to have meeting around 1.15 pm, which happened to the our lunch time or at 6.30 pm when it is time to pack and go home.
2. During the meeting, they will have no agendas and talk cocknonsense from what they had for breakfast till what they will be having for dinner tonight but skipped the main point.
3. The top management gets all their inspiration in the loo.
4. Suggested to the client to fly kites when they are in bad mood.
5. They can't speak proper english and swear but act like they are the most educated bunch in town. (puiiii)
6. They talk bad about each other. (Now, I really hate this one...) Please spare me!
7. My boss keeps trying his best to manipulate us in the most subtle way - cheap hard labour in the name of efficiency! Damn

Alright, these are just my frustrations after working three months with them!

Something like that

I watched Alfie last night and I love it. Perhaps Jude Law gave a stunning performance, perhaps some part of the movie just rings a bell in my head. Perhaps he is just too good looking to behold. Perhaps it's New York.. yeah..something like that.

I guess he was trying to happy in his own way. Screwed up, some might say but hey, at least at that spur of moment, he is living his life to the fullest! yeah, something like that. We should all learn to loosen up a little and LIVE!

Yesterday morning, I went shopping again at the curve after a heavy breakfast. Well, what better way to start a shopping free than to free yourself from unwanted weights? So, I went to take a dump and since it was still early, the cleaning lady is still taking a cleaning up the toilet. As I entered into the cubicle, another person entered into as well. I guess we cooked up such a feast!

As I started my chocolate hot fudge, the cleaner lady started to mumble - 'oh kawan, itu mesti plush (flush), tolong la, plush.... Saya kerja ini'

I was getting annoyed, no one and I mean no one disturb me when I am making my world famous chocolate hot fudge!!!!!! heheheh But since I am in such a venerable position - naked and cold and lonely, I decided to not do anything or say anything for now. I was imagining - she might pour a whole pail of cold water into the cubicle to clean the aroma, she might climb over to see who is the behind, she might.. oh no... .

Quickly, I finished my business and as I walked out of the toilet, I mumbled 'kalau lar berak itu wangi, makcik, saya sudah jual la'
